Since joining Covington Associates in 1996, Ben has provided financial advisory services in the area of mergers & acquisitions to dozens of companies.
Successfully completing deals with companies such as Boston Scientific, Cerner, GE and Siemens, Ben's area of specialty is advising medical technology and healthcare services firms. He has worked with disease management, pharmaceutical services, healthcare informatics, outsourced manufacturing, and medical device companies providing both buy and sell side advisory services. Ben is a frequent speaker at healthcare conferences and author of numerous articles, including a recently published white paper on "A Strategic Review of Outsourced Manufacturing for Medical Devices".
Prior to Covington, Ben was a Strategic Planning Manager at Arbitration Forums, Inc. a leading provider of business-to-business dispute resolution services, where he evaluated acquisition and joint venture opportunities. Ben received his undergraduate degree from the University of Vermont and his MBA and Masters degrees from the University of New Mexico.
