Inverness Medical Innovations has acquired HemoSense, Inc.

Covington Associates has acted as advisor to Inverness Medical Innovations, Inc. (AMEX: IMA) in its agreement to acquire Hemosense, Inc. (AMEX: HEM), a point-of-care diagnostic healthcare company that manufactures and sells easy-to-use, handheld blood coagulation systems for monitoring patients taking warfarin.
