Covington Associates is a specialty investment banking firm founded in 1991 by Chris Covington. Having prior experience running investment banking groups for Shearson American Express, Robertson Stephens, and Volpe & Covington, Chris decided to pursue an alternative to the large investment banking model. Since its founding over fifteen years ago, the vision for Covington Associates has been to remain a smaller and more focused advice driven organization in order to offer clients the highest caliber of senior-level attention.
Our firm offers advisory services in the areas of mergers and acquisitions ("M & A"), capital raising, strategic advisory services, fairness opinions and valuations, and capital restructuring.

Since its inception, Covington Associates has completed over 100 transactions ranging in value from $10 million to almost $2 billion; our "sweet spot" is transactions in the $20-$250 million range. We have experience working for both private and publicly traded clients at all stages of development, from start-ups to mature companies with hundreds of millions of dollars in revenues.
